Until about six months ago, cupcakes weren’t a regular offering at this bakery in the heart of Salinas. But owner and pastry chef Adrian Jimenez, who left a career in project management to pursue her confectionary dreams, noticed that custom orders of her creative cupcakes were popular. Now you can find everything from cookie dough and key lime to turtle and breakfast cereal-flavored cupcakes on display. The shop gets inspired through partnerships with local winemakers and farmers, crafting seasonal and themed cupcakes as well.
