It began in 1979 with one man, his truck and a chainsaw. Today, it’s about 35 people plus a fleet of cranes, masticators and new equipment. That first guy, Andy Tope, is still a partner; so is his son, Andrew Tope, who is a certified master arborist and partner with his dad. (Both still go out in the field almost daily.) The crew, Andrew Tope says, aren’t just laborers – they’re pest experts, certified tree climbers and certified arborists. And they’re willing to take on anything: “When there’s a will there’s a way for any situation in our business,” Andrew Tope says.
