Del Monte Shopping Center
1410 Del Monte Center, Monterey (831) 373-2705, delmontecenter.com
For years the Del Monte Shopping Center has been a quintessential hub for shopping, dining and hanging out for locals. And this is why it would be the perfect stop for politicians seeking a bit of area publicity. A presidential candidate could take a tour of Del Monte doing photo ops biting into a shawarma wrap at Dametra Fresh, trying out an outfit at Hot Topic and waiting at the Apple store for some help like an everyday person.
