For more than 10 years, Sarah Adams, founder and owner of The Raw Connection, has been helping Monterey County pet owners give their dogs and cats healthier, happier lives. After seeing first-hand in 1998 how changing her Irish wolfhound’s diet improved the pup’s quality of life (not to mention her own), Adams started helping animals outside of her home. She launched a raw food home delivery business in 2002 and in April 2006 opened her store at Carmel Rancho Shopping Center. Now with a broad selection of raw and grain-free diets, vitamin supplements, natural treats, free nutritional guidance and innovative toys, more pets and their parents are sure to find something they love that’s good for them.
