One of the coolest things about visiting Work Horse is checking out the staff’s personal bikes, each of which is weird, customized and handsome, demonstrating pride of craftsmanship. One staff bike, for example, was upgraded by the welding of an electric motor kit to the bottom of an old steel frame. What’s even more special, though, is that their expertise comes without elitism: no grumpy or standoffish attitude here. The shop will work on any bike and enthusiastically serve customers of every skill level. Roadies, mountain bikers and commuters are all welcome.
