Bonecrusher, from the sales department, heads to Monterey Lanes on schedule for league nights so he can up his average and try to win favor with his father-in-law. Woodward and Bernstein blend in and meet sources in the dark and comfortable confines of the bar, where nobody knows their names. The Weekly even organized a friggin’ team-building event complete with bowling shirts at the place – and nobody got naked, or arrested. The bowling alley in Monterey is so fun and normal even newspaper people feel welcome.
