Since 1939, the family-owned business has scored nearly 30 top awards from the Shoe Service Institute of America (the national association for shoe repair professionals – yes, there is such a thing) in an assortment of different categories. In addition to servicing all types of footwear, the business offers luggage repair, leather repair, zipper repair and dye work (dying luggage, handbags and shoes to match colors). They just don’t make shoes the way they used to, and that’s where Federico’s comes in. After seven decades, the top priority hasn’t changed: customer service.
