It’s not as evocative as Robert Altman’s 1985 HBO movie The Laundromat, starring Carol Burnett and Amy Madigan, but Sudz Cyber Laundry might just qualify as a place where Burnett’s and Madigan’s characters spill their secrets to each other while waiting for their clothes to dry. In the updated Sudz remake, the two women bond over organic coffee and tea in a clean, well-lit facility that features high-def TV and free Wi-Fi. No sound effects of clinking change needed in this movie: The high-tech eco-friendly machines are changeless.
