Here’s a quick history lesson: Trader Joe’s initially began as a chain of Pronto Markets in the greater Los Angeles area before adopting its South Seas theme and opening a store in 1967 in the format we know and love today. These days, Trader Joe’s keeps customers coming in for everything from organic produce to well-priced wines to its fine in-house items including their killer flatbreads and totally addictive chocolate-coated peanut butter-filled pretzels. If you haven’t tried them, do. On second thought, don’t – unless you’re prepared for a new snack addiction.
