Need we say more than Tiki Tuesday? Hula’s does happy hour daily until 6pm, and until close on Tuesdays, meaning $6 buys you all kinds of fruity cocktails, wines by the glass and a variety of pupus – delicious and shareable bites like jalapeño-bacon mac-n-cheese, ceviche or coconut shrimp rolls. If it’s nice out (or even if it’s not – they have blankets!) you can snack and sip from a lovely back patio and outdoor bar. If you can’t get to Hawaii at 5pm, you can at least sample island-flavored eats and drinks. One too many Dr. Funks – that’s coconut rum, vodka, crème de banana, pineapple and OJ – and you might forget you’re not in Hawaii.
