Avocado Toast

It’s been blamed for the inability of millenials to purchase homes and cars—they’re too busy, one idiot posited, spending their hard-earned money on avocado toast instead. And sure, it can be ridiculously pricey—one restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area charges $8.50 for one piece of bread topped with fresh avocado. But it’s a reasonably healthy way to get some good fat and carbs into you maw in the morning. Should aliens appear, we’d serve it to them on a nice slice of whole grain, and top the vibrant green fruit with coarse salt, fresh-cracked pepper, lemon juice and chili flakes. Welcome to Earth.
