Back in 1992, when NASA made its first polar orbit around the sun and Kris Kross made you jump jump, Myra and Drew Goodman propped up the Earthbound Farm Stand. This was the county’s OG produce market, a place that blazed trails between rows of pesticide-free crops. The stand now includes a cafe with a wholesome salad bar, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream. Let the kids run feral here—they’ll explore the world’s most climbable redwood tree, the magical teepee, the mesmerizing labyrinth, the alphabet garden. Hope’s alive and well in 2018; while the farm stand is currently closed for renovations, look for bigger and better things to come in a few months.
