After graduating from Monterey Peninsula College, DiMaggio rose through the ranks at Bank of America, first as a loan officer and then as branch manager, before moving to Union Bank in downtown Monterey to become that branch’s assistant vice-president. She also goes by “senior relationship banker,” which speaks volumes about her style, attitude and business focus. It may come down to bottom-line dollars and cents, but DiMaggio believes it’s all about relationships in order to get there, and her satisfied, down-to-earth clientele concur.
