Space food has historically been dehydrated, flavorless and/or in tube form. But there have been advancements in greenhouse technologies that could one day be used on space colonies. Plus, NASA has been looking to expand their menus. Hopefully, NASA takes a cue from Earthlings who demand things like chips and salsa and blood orange margaritas. All of which are currently found in non-tube form at Peppers, which also has extensive offerings in all things nacho – and fajita-related. Add to that a legendary spicy pork chili verde and a full bar, and it’s a food formula worthy of re-creating in space.
