Don’t be fooled by the wheels: This is not your ordinary food truck. It’s truly a restaurant on wheels. Sure, you can go basic and order tacos (an affordable $1.60 apiece) but you can also go big. The torta Cubana volcan piles up Milanesa (breaded beef cutlet), ham, sausages, tomatoes, jalapeños and onions. The torta erupcion is a multi-meat creation, stacked with carne asada, al pastor and grilled chicken – plus lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, pineapple and jack cheese. These hefty menu items have the same strength as rocket fuel.
