Tens of thousands of visitors and locals know of Bruno’s institutional status-by-the-sea because it’s such a well-stocked and well-serviced grocery and a rarity for Carmel proper. Fewer are those who focus on the latter part of the name, and fewer still are those who know the true depth of the deli, including the daily specials (Enchiladas! Barbecue! Tacos!) and one of the best burgers (and flat-out bargains) in the area.
