However, sometimes you have to take a couple of allergy pills and head into an actual physical room filled with every variety of cat breed and the wonderful people who raise, show and love them. With categories for household mixed-breeds to exotic cats (and yes, including some hypo-allergenic!), this annual event showcases the most accomplished cats from all over California. First-time cat show attendees should fear not, as the judges for this show are adept at describing breed characteristics as they inspect the contestants, and the breeders will share personal stories of their love for felines.
