While other suckas are listening to the news or books-on-tape or podcasts on their morning commute, the on-air boys over at 102.5 KDON’s Morning Madhouse – Sam Diggedy, Showbiz and Boy-Toy Bobby – are cracking up radio listeners 6-10am weekdays to start the day off right. Their format mixes music, talk, local events and pop culture, but they’re most notorious for hijinx and stunts like a rose flower eating contest, or chugging Tapatio out of the bottle, or spraying air freshener into each other’s mouths, or kicking each other in the nuts. There’s a lot of cackling and howling and gagging and protesting. But maybe they won this category because they will do anything to entertain their listeners: offer them escape, make ’em laugh, even gross them out.
