If we do end up populating another planet, these are the first people you’re going to want around – the doctors, nurses, technicians and other medical professionals who make up CHOMP’s workforce. Lucky for us, they’re into their jobs. Maybe it’s the koi pond in the lobby that we thought was meant to calm patients. Or that CHOMP has embraced holistic healing practices like playing harp to aid recovery. Or gotten ahead of a regional housing crunch by buying a new housing development for employees. Or launched a mobile medical clinic to serve the homeless. Or that they win our readers’ vote for best milkshake (see p. 96). With all that, we’re ready for launch.
