Bruce Delgado
The last year was a big one for Marina Mayor Bruce Delgado as several long-term goals were achieved to better his community. One that got a lot of ink in this paper was his coordination with state and local agencies, Cemex, and local conservation groups to close the nation’s last coastal sand-mining operation. Other accomplishments included assisting volunteers to establish a native oak woodland by the Marina Public Library and working with Boy Scouts and volunteers to beautify Marina’s Los Arboles Sports Complex.
