There’s no doubt that Alvarado Street Brewery has helped revolutionize Monterey’s beer scene and made downtown Monterey a lot cooler. Usually having between nine and 15 original creations on tap at a time, ASB is best known for its hoppy Minesweeper IPA and its award-winning Mai Thai PA. They’ve also opened our eyes to the delights of sours (Haole Punch!) and brews like the Motor Oil (an Imperial maple stout). And they added a production facility that pumps out more inventions with a cool beer garden and tasting space. Cheers!
