Pattullo already benefited from a down-home combination of earnest young lifeguards, loyal regulars including local city council members and other civic leaders, an overriding Cheers familiarity and a bunch of fun youth programs. Then last spring it received a $200K makeover, making it – to quote one longtime swimmer – “the most beautiful pool on the Peninsula.” With a new programming director planning more activities than ever, the fun is deepening further.
