Characters in HBO’s Big Little Lies drive across Bixby Bridge during the show (when supposedly traveling around Carmel and Monterey), but curiously have yet to stop at the best spot in the county to take a selfie. While it’s tough for Monterey County residents to suspend disbelief during these scenes, it’s no wonder the show’s producers picked this iconic landmark as eye candy for the series. For those living in the real world, it’s a great place to stretch the legs and let the dog out, but not without a baggie for the puppy poo.
