Hopefully, you won’t need plastic surgery. But if you do, Dr. Douglas Sunde is your man. Sunde grew up in Chicago, where he was an Eagle Scout, national merit scholar and high school valedictorian. He went on to graduate from Stanford University with distinction before completing medical school at UC San Francisco, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After a general and plastic surgery residency at Stanford, Dr. Sunde set up his private practice in Monterey in 1984, where he still works to this day with the goal of “helping people look on the outside how they feel on the inside.”
