The first carbon-neutral business in P.G. has innovated the laundromat experience. The clean and green operation is powered by coinless machines, but their virtues go far beyond those basics. Self-proclaimed as the “unofficial community center of P.G.,” Sudz offers more than washers and dryers—they offer an always-attended gathering space. They’ve got a free organic coffee and tea bar, public Wi-Fi, treats for pets, a mini library and food/clothing banks for customers. Stay tuned—this year they launch a free computer station! They offer fluff and fold too, but with services like this, waiting for your wash isn’t bad.
