Monterey Regional Waste Management has found a fun and affordable way to turn your trash into someone else’s treasure by collecting salvageable items bound for the landfill, then re-selling them at an affordable price. By doing this, Last Chance has created a large inventory of items ranging from furniture and clothing to books and household treasures. They provide other eco-friendly services like a buy-back center, exchanging cash for your bottles and cans. Not only can you help the environment, but you can make and/or save money doing it.
