Although they have been open since 1969, serving up vegetarian and vegan fare with a Brazilian twist, it wasn’t until recent years that gluten-free food became a strong fixture on their menu. With verbal confirmation from the chef himself that the gluten-free pasta is cooked in a separate pot of boiling water rather than in the same pot that’s held wheat pasta, they have a strong leg up in the GF game.
