Seaside’s known as a blue-collar town, a detour off the tourist beat. But it’s infused with a certain flavor savvy locals can sniff out. It’s the essence of garlic-wine-cream-lime and a hint of hot pepper. It’s California-Caribbean up the hill from the Pacific. Those with a super-sharp nose might start with the golden fried oysters, follow up with the rock cod tostada salad and wrap up with the house-made key lime pie. (On the weekend, go cioppino.)
