After more than 25 years, Fifi’s menu has changed very little. After all, it would be like fixing something that’s not broken. The cozy Pacific Grove cafe continues to serve up its dynamite renditions of Parisian classics, including steak frites charbroiled with green peppercorn-brandy sauce; steamed mussels with leeks, shallots, and tomato in a white-wine marsala broth; and an unrivaled bouillabaisse, overflowing with seasonal fish, mussels and prawns drenched in a saffron broth with Anchoïade and rouille croustades (you’ll want extra bread to sop up all that deliciousness).
