The glass door isn’t easy to find. It hides in a back parking lot off Main, crammed almost offensively between a pizza place and a furniture store. But make no mistake, this a French patisserie worth seeking out. Owners David and Cloren Tiger, originally from France, moved here from London a few years back to open the shop. Doors open at 7am most days, the glass cases stuffed full of their gifts by then: croissants, bread pudding, cakes, tarts and cookies. It’ll all be gone by early afternoon (cash only). If you’re one of the lucky ones, you’ll grab an almond croissant or an elegant piece of lemon raspberry cake, and you’re perched on a hilltop, licking your fingertips and imaging you’re in a land far, far away. Oui, no?
