In its sixth year, the Fairgrounds’ biggest draw of the year, other than Monterey Jazz Festival, expanded its roster of reggae-rock festival faves - such as SOJA, Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid - to include Philly hip-hop collective The Roots, roots-rock jam band the John Butler Trio, stoned Latin-tinged rappers Cypress Hill and hip-hop/blues mash-up G-Love & Special Sauce. Fishbone and Dilated Peoples were also on hand, helping make it the gathering’s best year yet.
