Some swear by the East Coast-inspired pizza pies. Appropriately accented (and ever-enthusiastic) owner-operator Steve DeMarco calls the lasagna “beautiful.” But the real revelation is the calzone: outwardly crisp and inwardly tender, with a knowing balance of sauce, melting mozzarella and meat, and enough girth to make for two meals. The pepperoni layers most flavorfully with the other ingredients (though the meatball and sausage are more than solid); make sure they include the onions, as is house tradition.
