Randy Lange as Weed Santa
Christmas is over in December, but in January 2015, Randy Lange missed the memo. Inside Seaside’s Buffalo Wild Wings, 57-year-old Lange was arrested after handing out marijuana to customers and staff. Lange claimed to be Santa Claus and said the pot was a gift to the recipients. Police were called after Lange was allegedly seen wrapping pot in napkins and passing it out. Lange also allegedly gave one employee a napkin filled with pot and stuffed a large amount inside the bar’s tip jar. Lange was arrested for furnishing marijuana. When police searched Lange’s duffel bag and backpack, they say they found five football-sized amounts of pot, weighing in at over two pounds. “He went in and had a few beers and was walking around,” Seaside Police Sgt. Nicolas Borges said.
