Looking out east from the Hahn tasting room, over the expanse of the Salinas Valley, the Pinnacles scratch the sky atop the distant Coast Range. And though the view is breathtaking in its own right, it’s enjoyed even more when sipping one of Hahn’s world-class wines. Nestled up in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Hahn is unique among local wineries open to the public: Not only does it boast by far the best views, it offers daily walking and tours through the vineyards that finish with a tasting (noon daily; $25). For the more intrepid, there’s also an educational ATV tour through the vineyards that closes with a visit to the wine cellar, and after, a tasting (10:30am, Fri.-Mon; $45, reservations required). It’s a one-stop shop, where visitors can choose their own adventure.
