Having won Best Bar for Darts eight out of the last 10 years, this New Monterey hangout has bragging rights to a longer dynasty than the S.F. Giants. Still Brit-owned and operated, the Bulldog is a late night fave of locals, with draft pints and traditional pub fare (Irish stew or fish & chips anyone?), bar grub and burgers till 2am, with hot dogs next door till 3. The said-to-be-addictive Red Devil Chicken sandwich (spicy mayo, pepperjack, bacon and avocado) garners praise regularly, and the two dartboards are always hopping.
