Anyone who sticks around late at night to watch KSBW will likely be a fan of “Animal Stories with Dan Green,” where stories of sloths stuck in traffic and snakes swallowing teddy bears are discussed. Green’s familiar face and puppy eyes are well-loved, but it’s his skill when reporting breaking news and delivering special reports on the Central Coast, as well as his humor when delivering feature stories, that rank as the primary reasons he stands out. Green says one of his superhero-like qualities is this: “I can change into my suit at a moment’s notice.”
