What is surprising is how the Monterey Bay Aquarium has sustained its power of attracting droves of visitors, locals and excited students on field trips for over 30 years. Playful penguins, jellyfish that move hypnotically and adorable sea otters all have a home in one of many exhibits designed to engage all ages.
