The power of hyper-local journalism is alive and well on the Weekly’s website. The newly redesigned site now flexes freely from mobile to desktop, and allows interests to guide visitors with lists at the bottom right of each section that allow searches by content, region, topic or category. On the home page, along with daily local content, there is also a news feed that gives readers the most current news events in the nation and the world. Paired with vivid photography, it’s enough to make it look like we rigged the vote. But we just rigged up the type of local content website we’d want, because we’re locals too.
