Industry leaders in the Salinas Valley claim that ag jobs of the future will look a lot more like tech jobs of the present. To meet that vision of a changing industry, Hartnell College offers students programs to meet the shifting demands of the area’s bedrock industry, including Agriculture Business Technology and Agricultural and Industrial Technology. These program provide the skills needed to be successful technicians, operators and managers from fields to coolers, processing plants, distribution hubs and quality control desks.
