It can’t be coincidence that the place that sculpted my pecs was voted Best Health Club. The public knows that guns like mine don’t just happen unless you hit the happening that is the Monterey Sports Center. Aquatic, sauna, hot pool, the newest and greatest of fitness equipment, all manner of group exercise, gym, camps, physical therapy, personal trainers and a snack bar that is better than many cafes… the Sports Center has it all. Plus, managers Jeff Vierra and Ryan Nunez and their staff are possibly the nicest people in the county. (Next year that should be their award.) It’s time for the Sports Center to bump up a division and go for Best Health Club on the Planet.
