In the last year alone he’s a) helped get part of Fort Ord declared a national monument; b) helped bring a veteran’s clinic to Marina; c) battled against ugly cuts to supplemental nutrition programs to the poor; and d) helped the Democrats fight through an ugly, Tea Party-driven effort to shut down the government.
