Sustainable Seaside Tour

Back in Pittsburgh, there’s a word for that benign but niggling curiosity people have about their neighbors: What’s that shiny thing on their roof? Why did they move their raised garden beds to the front yard? Nebby. People in Seaside are nebby, too, but luckily we’ve got a healthy outlet for it in the Sustainable Seaside tour. Every fall, people open their homes to show off the ways they’ve saved resources, often saving money in the process. Their green features run the gamut from backyard hens to underground cisterns, salvaged cabinetry to solar saunas. And you get to neb around your neighbors’ property.
