Cathie Montero of Food Bank for Monterey County

For the past three years, Cathie Montero has dedicated her life to the Food Bank for Monterey County. The community partnership coordinator has learned that helping others is a way to give back to those who had helped her during her own hard times. Her biggest struggle: getting enough donations for the Food Bank to feed all the families in need. Montero also volunteers at a number of other organizations, including Ambassadors For Christ. Her upbringing granted her the virtue of compassion and she continues working in that spirit, to the benefit of Monterey County’s neediest. We thank her with the utmost gratitude.
