Jacob Ellzey, singer/guitarist for up-and-coming garage rockers The Pip Squeeks, considers the trio’s impromptu pop-up concert (with Mystery Lights’ Michael Brandon) last December 2014 in front of Bob Gamber’s iconic Vinyl Rev in Pacific Grove to be the band’s greatest gig ever. The sunset performance lasted well over an hour – not including a couple friendly interruptions from the PGPD – and ended up yielding enough money in donations for The Pip Squeeks to produce 100 CD copies of their full-length debut.
