Few restaurants in the area offer a more beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, especially at sunset. Manager Bastiaan De Winter says matching the view with an equal level of service and food quality is the secret. Menu changes are in the offing, with a move away from the traditionally sauce-intensive French to something called “rustic coastal,” a concept described as farm-to-table by which foods are sourced according to the seasons and prepped in ways that allow the fresh flavors to speak for themselves.
