Gino’s Fine Italian Food
1410 S. Main St., Salinas
(831) 422-1814
God, family, passion and traditions. Oh, and longevity. The secrets of Gino’s success are no secrets at all: They’re the first words you see on the company website. “People don’t normally ask about the secret, because they don’t want to hear it,” says co-owner Ralph Bozzo. “But it’s really that simple.” Gino’s has been dishing up crave-worthy Italian food in South Salinas since 1975, and the crowds keep showing up—for boldly spiced red sauce, for perfectly crisp calamari, for lush alfredo. The family restaurant empire has expanded, with the addition of Luigi’s in Gonzalez, but Salinas will remain the mothership of solid Italian food.
