This landmark eatery at Moss Landing is like an old friend. What local hasn’t been to Phil’s for soups, salads, fresh salmon, octopus, Dungeness crab or albacore tuna? It’s where you take out-of-town guests. Nothing fancy. But this is the land of seafood lovers, and seafood lovers roll up their sleeves, put on their bibs and dig in. Any seafood lover who has lived in this area long enough has been honored with a cioppino-stained shirt compliments of Phil’s. Well worth the sacrifice.
