Golden Tee Restaurant at Monterey Regional Airport
200 Fred Kane Drive, Ste. 201, Monterey

Those cynical and suggestive conversations between George Clooney and Vera Farmiga in Up in the Air. Pam Greer gliding, striding and then running through the terminal in Jackie Brown, set to Bobby Womack’s “Across 110th Street.” Kevin Hart getting dressed down by airport security officer Monique in Soul Plane. A lot of dramas and comedies play out at these hubs of departures and arrivals, these architecturally sprawling spaces where humans go to fly. The Golden Tee Restaurant offers a daily and delicious excuse to partake in that wistful atmosphere inherent in airports – for breakfast, lunch or dinner – set to a view of the runway’s taxiing and flying planes, backdropped by the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. They even have a kids menu. But you don’t want to re-enact the scene of the harried family barely catching their flight while forgetting the youngest offspring in Home Alone.
