Remember that crazy time around the holidays when Seth Rogen’s The Interview almost caused an international incident? Well, Mark Borde, owner of the Osio Cinemas, had the guts to screen the film in his theater and stand up against the bullying from North Korea. While the Osio should be applauded for this, it should also be lauded for its commitment to screening the best independent movies, documentaries and genre films in Monterey throughout the year.
