Citing it as another case of "the liberal bias and anti-Americanism infiltrating public schools," Fox News anchor Sean Hannity interviewed a Salinas mother upset that a local teacher told her daughter to stop writing "God Bless America" on an American flag drawing.

Gavilan View Middle School parent Tracy Hathaway and her daughter Taryn were guests on Hannity's show. They complain that another student who drew a picture of President Obama was allowed to keep drawing. Hathaway has demanded an apology from the school.

Here is an excerpt of the interview:

HANNITY: So, why would the principal apologize and not force the teacher to apologize? Because don't you think this crosses a line as a parent? That this teacher is trying to indoctrinate and impose their political views on your daughter?

TRACY HATHAWAY: Yes. Absolutely. And the one thing that I've never had issue with the drawing of the president. My issue was, why is that acceptable and supportive but the one thing that in this country stands for the freedom and liberties we all hold dear is offensive?

Meanwhile, the superintendent of Santa Rita Union School District slammed patriots for sending him hateful emails in response to the flag flap.
